1 Agreement to these terms
These Terms govern your use of the Safon app and website, provided by Argos (Argos), Thun, Switzerland. By installing, activating, or using Safon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Safon.
2 What Safon is
Safon is an anti-theft tool for Android phones. It can lock a phone, report its location, detect SIM changes, and resist the factory reset that thieves and repair shops use — so that a stolen phone is far harder to use or resell. Most features work over SMS and do not require an internet connection.
3 Eligibility & your responsibilities
- You must be an adult and the lawful owner of the phone you install Safon on, or have the owner’s permission.
- You agree to use Safon only on phones you own or are authorized to protect. Using Safon to track or lock a phone you do not own or control may be illegal and is strictly prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your activation code and any recovery information safe.
4 License
When you pay for and activate Safon, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Safon on the activated device. The license is tied to the device. You may not resell, share, or redistribute activation codes, or copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the app.
5 Payment
Safon is a one-time payment of $10 (currently $10), payable by eDahab, Zaad, or other listed methods. Prices may change for future purchases. Payment unlocks activation for one device.
6 How protection works — and its limits
Safon stops ordinary thieves and ordinary repair shops — the ones who only know the factory reset. It makes a stolen phone useless to them and raises the wall high. But no anti-theft tool can stop every expert in the world, and we do not promise that a phone can never be unlocked, recovered by a thief, or defeated by advanced methods.
Safon is provided to reduce theft and improve recovery — not as a guarantee. We are not responsible for the loss of a device, loss of data, or any inability to recover a stolen phone.
7 Service availability
Safon depends on your phone, your SIM, mobile network and SMS delivery, and third-party services such as Google Firebase. These can be delayed or interrupted for reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
8 Intellectual property
Safon, the Argos name, logos, and all related software and content are owned by Argos and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
9 Disclaimer
Safon is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that Safon will meet your requirements or prevent every theft.
10 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Argos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of a device, data, or profit, arising from your use of or inability to use Safon. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Safon.
11 Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse Safon (for example, to track a phone you do not own). You may stop using Safon at any time.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
13 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
